Fragrant and colourful sound
The idea of playing with shadow came to me because I experienced the rolling blackouts in
Tokyo due to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant accident in 2011.
During the rolling blackouts that occurred in the evening, all electronic devices were shut
down and I had to live with flashlights.
I remembered the expressions my piano teacher uses in her piano lessons, "fragrant sound"
& "colourful sound" and looked for sounds in precious daily life.
